The cases can be classified into three types of geotechnological applications on different levels of urban spaces, which are relevant to different kinds of urban planning and development projects. GeoVisualization and urban design (at the level of urban partitions, urban design of street furniture, townscape and public parks.-3. Geography Information System and planning support (concerning development and planning support tools based on GIS platform.
