Cappozza was an only child. Raised in a middle class suburb of Boston by caring parents and in good Christian environment, Frankie had always excelled in his studies and sports throughout parochial and high schools.

Mario and Angelina could not have been more proud nor asked for a better son, that is, until he entered into his second year at Boston College.Riding on a full scholarship, Frankie had been doing well, that is until as a sophomore, he fell into the wrong crowd. His drinking problems, absences from school, fighting with class and team mates and testing the limits of the college faculty had finally found him in expulsion. Though his near genius abilities at math had insured him many good jobs following his college oust, his drinking, tardiness at work, in-fighting with other employees and his insubordinate attitude toward his superiors had led from one job to another.

Though, it was only through his dad’s best childhood friend, Tony Mazziotti, or, “Uncle Tony” as Frankie had always known him, who offered his son a job at his firm in California that Mario Cappozza saw the opportunity that might present his son the chance of a lifetime. It had taken but little time for Frankie Cappozza to work his way well into the Mazziotti firm, into the God-loving confidence of the family and more importantly, into the affections of their beautiful daughter, Kristin Mazziotti.

Never one to let an opportunity slide through his fingers, Frankie soon found himself in the position of company, Chief Financial Officer, a spot that allowed him to gather more riches than he’d ever dreamed. Though as time went on it had become Frankie’s drinking, womanizing, misplacement of significant amounts of company funds and other such sinister actions that finally became the cause for the downward spiral of the longtime, Mazziotti and Cappozza family relationships.
